Chrysler has developed a new eight-speed automatic
transmission to revolutionize the fuel economy and emissions of two large
sedans. Initially available only in domestically produced cars, the new gearbox
will be integrated into the 2012
Chrysler 300 and 2012 Dodge Charger - both of which are powered by
the Chrysler Pentastar V6 engine.
